Membership is accessible to all professionals, students of psychology, and anyone who shares and supports the mission and vision of PATISA. This includes:

• Clinical, Educational, Industrial, Research, and Neuropsychology practitioners
• Psychology students (undergraduate and postgraduate)
• Allies and supporters of transformation in psychology

Membership is renewable annually, and all paid-up members gain special privileges to various PATISA offerings.

Professional membership (Clinical, Educational, Industrial, Research, Neuropsychology): R1,500 per year.

Student membership: R750 per year.

Fees are payable annually. Group and institutional membership rates are available on request — please contact us for details.

Paid-up professional members receive:

• Full voting rights at AGM and meetings
• Access to all PATISA programmes and CPD events
• Listing in the public practitioner directory
• Access to research publications
• Advocacy and representation to HPCSA and stakeholders
• Networking opportunities with fellow practitioners

Student members receive observer rights, access to selected programmes, mentorship network access, and career development resources.

Paid-up members can update their directory listing by:

1. Logging into the Member Portal and editing your profile, or
2. Emailing the Coordinator of Committee at coc@patisa.co.za with your updated details (name, specialisation, location, availability status, contact information).

Updates are typically reflected within 48 hours.

Visit our Find a Practitioner section. You can search by name or location, and filter by specialisation (Clinical, Educational, Industrial, Research, Neuropsychology).

Each listing shows the practitioner's name, specialisation, location, and current availability status. You can then contact them directly.

Yes. PATISA hosts various CPD-accredited workshops, seminars, and training opportunities designed to elevate clinical excellence and keep members current with evolving legislation and HPCSA regulations.

Members receive priority access and discounted rates. Check the Events section for the current calendar, or contact ceo@patisa.co.za for the full CPD schedule.

The PATISA AGM is held at the anniversary month of the organisation, on a date determined by the Executive Committee. All active members are notified in advance.

Ordinary meetings are held at least once a month. Members receive calendar invitations and virtual access details via email.

Formal complaints about member conduct should be submitted in writing to the Coordinator of Committee at coc@patisa.co.za.

All complaints are treated confidentially and investigated in accordance with PATISA's disciplinary procedures and the Code of Conduct. You may also refer serious matters to the HPCSA directly.

PATISA is a registered non-profit professional association. We recommend consulting with your tax practitioner regarding the deductibility of professional membership fees under current South African tax legislation (Income Tax Act).

PATISA can provide proof of payment and membership confirmation letters upon request for tax purposes.

Paid-up members can access the Member Portal by visiting the Member Login page.

If you have forgotten your credentials, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page, or contact ceo@patisa.co.za for assistance. New members receive login credentials via email upon confirmation of payment.

Yes. PATISA welcomes students of psychology, researchers, and allies who support our mission of transformation and innovation in the psychology profession.

Student membership is available at a reduced rate of R750 per year. Non-psychologist allies may apply for associate membership — please contact us to discuss your interest.
